I think because they are stiff on purpose so that they can be a slide in the top of the tongue rubbed my daughter’s foot. So chic would only be able to wear them with really tall socks. Also, one of the bungee cords broke on the first day of her wearing it and customer service was really great and let us return them.

Ripped the first day my daughter wore them. She was dragging her foot to brake on her scooter, but this much damage seems unreasonable. This was her second pair of these and I’m very disappointed!
